Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms
By registering for and using CVSO's Virtual Mailbox service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CVSO Pty Ltd (ABN to be confirmed).
2. The service
CVSO provides a Virtual Mailbox service which includes:
- A permanent Australian postal address (Canning Vale or Applecross)
- Receipt, holding, and forwarding of physical mail and parcels
- Digital notification when mail is received
- Optional Virtual Office Upgrade (use of address for business registration)
- Optional Residential VoIP phone number with Australian DID
3. Eligibility and identity verification
You must be 18 years or older to use this service. In compliance with Australian AML/CTF legislation, all customers must complete a 100-point identity check before the service is activated. CVSO reserves the right to refuse service to any applicant who cannot satisfy identity verification requirements or who we reasonably suspect of using the service for unlawful purposes.
4. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use the CVSO address for:
- Any illegal activity or purpose
- Receiving mail on behalf of a third party without prior written approval
- Business registration without the Virtual Office Upgrade add-on
- Receiving large quantities of parcels without arrangement with CVSO
- Any activity that could bring CVSO into disrepute or legal liability
5. Fees and billing
Service fees are charged monthly in advance:
- Virtual Mailbox – Canning Vale: $45/month
- Virtual Mailbox – Applecross: $55/month
- Virtual Office Upgrade: +$25/month
- Residential VoIP: +$25/month
All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST where applicable. Your card is charged securely via Stripe and your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled. Failed payments may result in suspension of the service.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. CVSO may terminate your service immediately if you breach these terms, with no refund of prepaid fees.
7. Mail handling
- Mail is held for a maximum of 30 days unless forwarding arrangements are made
- Parcels exceeding standard letterbox size may incur additional holding fees
- CVSO is not responsible for loss or damage to items outside our control
- Perishable items, prohibited goods, and items requiring refrigeration cannot be accepted
- CVSO reserves the right to open mail if required by law or if we suspect illegal content
8. VoIP service terms
The Residential VoIP add-on provides an Australian DID (phone number) with standard call features. Emergency services (000) calls are supported based on the address you register. It is your responsibility to keep your emergency service address current. VoIP service availability is subject to internet connectivity and may be affected by outages beyond our control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, CVSO's total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of our service is limited to the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. CVSO is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including loss of business or revenue.
10. Changes to these terms
CVSO may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
